Nick More qualified as a dentist from the University of Sheffield in June 2000 and went straight into general practice training in Manchester. Nick joined Carlton House in January 2007.
Nick keeps fully up to date with the latest treatments, procedures and materials via continued professional development (regulated by the General Dental Council). He aims to deliver high quality dental care for all the family, and also enjoys cosmetic dentistry. He provides everything from teeth whitening to cosmetic veneers and crowns as well as white fillings and bridgework for that winning smile.
Ultimately, Nick believes that everyone deserves to be treated individually with respect, dignity, and most of all understanding. Using this philosophy and the most advanced materials and techniques, he helps his patients achieve fantastic results, whether it’s the most simple of fillings or complex bridgework. As a result, a high percentage of Nick’s business is from repeat customers and word of mouth referrals.
Nick is married and has a young son who takes up lots of his time. He supports Man Utd and is an ex-international lacrosse player.
Nina qualified as a dental hygienist in 2000 at Birmingham Dental Hospital. At the end of her studies, she was awarded the Ash/Dentsply award for clinical excellence.
Since qualification, Nina has worked in NHS and private practices in Leicestershire and Warwickshire. She is a member of the British Society of Hygiene and Therapy and treats patients by direct access.
Nina’s special interests lie in treating complex cases and phobic patients. Her calm and relaxed manner means even nervous patients can feel at ease in her care.
In her free time, Nina loves entertaining and going on long walks with her dogs. She also has a passion for horses, but her best times are with family and friends.
Becky started working in the dental profession in 2009 as a dental nurse. Her passion for oral health education led her to further her career, and she achieved her diploma in dental hygiene and therapy from the University of Sheffield in 2019. Becky enjoys keeping up to date with the latest skills and knowledge through further training.
Becky is a friendly, approachable therapist and takes pride in her abilities to put patients at ease during appointments.
Outside of work, she loves to travel, bake cakes and spend time relaxing with her family.
Lizzy began her dental nurse journey in 2019 and joined Carlton House in 2022. She has an interest in oral surgery and many plans for her future training!
Lizzy loves helping dental phobic or nervous patients feel at ease when coming to the practice and during their treatment.
Most of Lizzy’s spare time is spent looking after her young daughter, but she never says no to a spot of retail therapy or socialising with friends.
Emma is a cornerstone of our practice, having started her journey with us as a Trainee Dental Nurse back in October 2003. Over her time with us, her dedication and expertise have led her to the role of Head Dental Nurse, where she leads by example every day.
She is highly qualified, holding her NEBDN Certificate in Dental Nursing (qualified May 2006) as well as the post-registration NEBDN Certificate in Oral Health Education (qualified March 2007).
For Emma, the most rewarding aspect of her job is providing unwavering support to both her clinical team and her patients. She takes immense pride in ensuring that the practice runs smoothly and that every patient receives the absolute highest standard of care during their visit.
When she is not in practice, Emma loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys getting outdoors for long walks with her dog, and she also loves channeling her creativity in the kitchen with a spot of baking.
Angela joined Carlton House in 2008 after a career in retail. She then qualified as a dental nurse in 2010.
Angela has worked part time at the practice since she had her son in 2017. She works with the dentist, hygienist and on reception, which she enjoys as she gets to do a bit of everything.
Angela is also responsible for the emergency drug kit, making sure everything is up to date and in stock.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her son, who keeps her very busy. She also enjoys swimming and socialising with friends and family.
Danielle joined the practice in January 2024, bringing a versatile skill set to both our clinical and front-of-house teams. She holds an NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care and professional support throughout their visit.
For Danielle, the most rewarding part of her role is the vibrant teamwork and the opportunity to interact with patients daily. She especially loves building lasting, friendly relationships with our regular patients, helping them feel comfortable and welcome from the moment they walk through the door.
When she isn’t at the clinic, Danielle stays active. You can often find her working out at the gym or exploring the outdoors on walks, hikes, and road trips. For downtime, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends, or diving into a round of Call of Duty.
Megan joined our team in September 2025, bringing a wonderful blend of clinical skill and dedicated patient care to the practice.
She began her journey in the care sector by earning a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care from South Wigston Leicester College in 2023. Building on that foundation, she completed her dental training at another practice, qualifying as a dental nurse through Harriet Ellis Training Solutions in August 2025.
For Megan, the most rewarding part of her role is helping patients feel completely at ease and comfortable throughout their treatments. She is a natural collaborator who thoroughly enjoys supporting our clinicians and being an active, reliable part of the dental team.
When she isn’t caring for patients, Megan loves staying active and social. You will often find her working out at the gym, catching up with friends, or enjoying live music at festivals. She also treasures quality time spent with her family, especially her one-year-old nephew, who keeps her happily busy and thoroughly entertained.
Lina joined our practice in September 2025, bringing a compassionate and caring approach to her role. She is fully qualified, having earned her NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2018.
Lina takes great pride in the clinical side of her work, particularly in setting up surgeries and assisting during dental treatments. However, her true passion lies in patient care. Her favourite part of the job is helping patients overcome dental phobias by providing a positive, gentle, and professional experience. She also finds it incredibly rewarding to witness patients’ confidence grow as their dental hygiene improves over time.
Away from the clinic, Lina is a busy mum to two little girls, and she dedicates most of her free time to looking after them. As a family, they love staying active and making memories together, whether they are heading to the park, going on bike rides, or enjoying fun family days out.
Charlotte joined the practice in 2005 as an experienced and qualified dental nurse with a special interest in oral hygiene. She has since taken on the role of Practice Manager and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest CQC and HTM01-05 policies and procedures.
Charlotte is happy to help throughout the practice but can mainly be found working in her office upstairs or on reception.
Outside of work, she can often be found working hard in the gym where she teaches various fitness classes. Charlotte also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, planning holidays, camping, attending various festivals and walking her dog. She has two children and a variety of pets to keep her busy!
Nicky qualified as a dental nurse in 1997 but left the industry in 2001 to pursue other interests. She has now come full circle, and joined Carlton House in July 2021 as Reception Manager.
Outside of work, Nicky enjoys cooking, baking, travelling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
