Nick is the Principal Dentist at Long Street Dental and joined the practice in 2003. He graduated with his BDS from the University of Manchester in 1996 and has dedicated his career to delivering exceptional dental care with a personal touch.

The most rewarding part of his role is the relationships he has built over the decades; he truly loves being part of such a fabulous team and takes great pleasure in welcoming back long-standing patients year after year. He finds immense satisfaction in delivering life-changing cosmetic treatments and smile transformations that boost his patients’ confidence.

When he isn’t in the clinic, Nick enjoys the great outdoors, where he can usually be found perfecting his swing on the golf course or enjoying a quiet day of carp fishing.

Paul qualified in 2000 from Guy’s Hospital, London, and started his dental career in Guildford, Surrey. In 2002, he became a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Paul joined Long Street Dental Practice in July 2013 and has been a valued dentist here ever since.

Paul enjoys all aspects of dentistry and works with every patient to help them achieve their goals. He is very enthusiastic about the cosmetic aspects of dentistry. He also offers a range of facial aesthetic procedures, including wrinkle reduction and dermal filler enhancements. His calm nature puts patients at ease, and he particularly likes to help patients overcome any dental fears that they may have.

Paul enjoys taking part in a variety of sports. He is a keen golfer and does weight training most mornings before work. He loves going on holiday and having varied weekend experiences with his family.

Manuel graduated from the University of Lisbon – Faculty of Dental Medicine – with a Master’s Degree in Dentistry in 2011. He continued his education in the UK by completing a postgraduate diploma at the University of Bristol in 2018 (BUOLD) and has since also completed a further Diploma in Dental Implantology in 2026 from the same university.

Manuel joined Long Street Dental in July 2022 and welcomes referrals from colleagues for his work. He continues to develop his skills with regular courses and training in implant dentistry.

Manuel enjoys working alongside the supportive team at Long Street Dental and embracing the variety that each day brings.

Every case presents a unique opportunity to learn, grow and deliver the high standards of care he values. He is particularly passionate about rehabilitating complex cases, restoring both the function and the aesthetics of his patients’ smiles. The most rewarding part of his role is seeing the confidence and happiness a healthy, natural-looking smile can bring.

Outside of work, Manuel enjoys spending quality time with his family and his two bulldogs. He loves travelling and discovering different cuisines and cultures through food.

For nearly three decades, Elaine has loved building lasting relationships with her patients, empowering them to take control of their oral health in a comfortable, supportive environment. She prides herself on working alongside a fantastic team of professionals who share her commitment to excellent patient care.

Outside of the clinic, Elaine stays active by running and walking, and she loves socialising with friends. When she isn’t on the move, you can find her exploring her creative side through various arts and crafts projects.

Paris joined the practice as a dental therapist in March 2025, bringing a passion for patient care and a dedicated approach to oral health. For Paris, patient satisfaction is the most rewarding part of her job; nothing fulfills her more than knowing she has made a genuinely positive difference. She loves seeing her patients leave the clinic happy, smiling, and with a renewed sense of confidence.

Outside of work, Paris stays highly active, with gym sessions and kickboxing. To unwind, she loves diving into a good book, baking some treats, and travelling to new destinations. She also loves her adventures with her beloved French Bulldog, Rocky.

Sophie joined the practice in December 2024, bringing wealth of expertise to the team. She graduated with Merit from the prestigious Guy’s and King’s College Hospital in London in 2002, earning her Diploma in Dental Hygiene.

Sophie truly thrives on the challenges of treating patients with complex oral health needs, and she has a special gift for putting nervous patients at ease. For her, there is no greater professional reward than taking a deeply anxious patient through a gentle, comfortable appointment and hearing them say, “That wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be!”

Because life at the practice keeps her busy, Sophie loves staying active and unwinding outside of work. She is an avid golfer who plays at least once a week, and she swims regularly to stay fit. When she isn’t on the golf course or in the pool, she loves catching a film at the cinema, enjoying a night out at the theatre, or sharing a dinner with friends. To truly recharge, she loves escaping to sunny destinations for well-deserved, relaxing holidays.

Claire has been a beloved part of the practice family since 1998, when she initially joined the team as a dental nurse. Driven by her passion for patient care, she went on to earn her Diploma in Dental Therapy from Queen Mary University of London in 2003, and has been practising as a dual-qualified dental therapist and hygienist at the clinic since 2009.

With over two decades of dental experience, Claire thrives on tackling complex cases and helping patients overcome deep-seated dental fears or past negative experiences. She is particularly wonderful with children, taking the time to build trust and make their visits fun and stress-free. In her hygiene work, Claire takes a whole-body approach, focusing on the crucial systemic links between oral health and overall physical well-being.

Outside the clinic, Claire is all about family, friendship, and fresh air. She loves socialising in coffee shops and enjoys long, relaxing walks with her beloved dog, Margot.

Deborah started work as a trainee dental nurse in 2000 and subsequently qualified in 2002. She joined the Long Street dental team in 2003 and became the senior dental nurse in 2009.

Deborah particularly enjoys the aesthetic side of dentistry. The main dentist she works alongside provides patients with Invisalign treatment, and she particularly enjoys seeing patients go through the entire treatment process and the confidence it gives them when they see the final results. She also enjoys working with the practice’s elderly patients. Over two decades in practice, she has built up a fantastic rapport with many generations of patients. Deborah’s passion for oral health and dentistry is unmistakable. She loves going to provide diet and oral health advice to children’s groups in Devizes. She has visited nurseries, Beavers and Brownies groups and various local schools over the years to provide advice and tips on brushing and caring for teeth and gums.

Outside of work, Deborah loves to get outdoors and spend time gardening. She also embraces her creative side through cross-stitch and playing the guitar, and when it’s time to unwind, you can usually find her relaxing with a good book.

Jenny is a long-serving team member, having been an integral part of Long Street Dental since 1996. She gained her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1995 and, aside from a short break in the early 2000s to raise her two children, she has been dedicated to our patients.

Having been with the practice for that length of time, Jenny has had the unique privilege of getting to know generations of patients, watching many grow up from children into adults who now bring their own families to the practice. She loves the daily variation of general dentistry and has a particular passion for cosmetic treatments like Invisalign treatment, finding it incredibly rewarding to see the confidence-boosting transformation of a patient’s before-and-after results. For Jenny, the wonderful team around her makes the practice a truly fantastic place to work.

When she isn’t at the clinic, Jenny stays active with plenty of walking and loves socialising with her friends. She is an avid reader, values quality time spent with her family, and always looks forward to going on holiday and exploring new places.

Laura qualified as a dental nurse with the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) in 2023 and has been a great asset to the team since joining the practice in 2021. Known for her dedicated and friendly approach, Laura thoroughly enjoys working alongside her colleagues in such a supportive team environment. Her favourite part of the day is meeting patients, and she takes great pride in providing excellent care and making everyone feel completely comfortable during their appointments.

Away from work, Laura loves to stay busy and social. She is an avid traveller who enjoys exploring new places, but she is equally happy relaxing closer to home. Above all, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends, and she is always on the lookout for a great new restaurant to try when eating out.

Nadine’s career in dentistry began in April 1994, when she qualified with her NEBDN. While studying at college, she worked full-time at a local dental practice, gaining invaluable, hands-on experience as a chairside dental nurse. This training allowed her to rapidly develop her clinical skills, deep understanding of dental procedures, and exceptional patient care. Nadine joined our practice in June 2021, and she has recently continued to expand her expertise by studying and assisting in dental implant treatments.

For Nadine, the best part of dental nursing is the wonderful sense of camaraderie that comes with working alongside such a great team. She thrives on the variety her role offers, working closely to support the clinician while building strong, trusting relationships with patients to ensure they feel fully supported throughout their treatment journey.

Away from the practice, Nadine places a high value on maintaining close relationships and loves spending quality time with her friends and family. She has a passion for the arts and entertainment, frequently attending the theatre, concerts, and live music events to experience new performances. Nadine also loves to travel, always eager to jet off on holiday, explore new places, and make lasting memories.

Amanda joined our practice in 2023 and is a GDC-registered dental nurse, having qualified through the grandparenting scheme in recognition of her extensive, hands-on clinical experience.

With her deep understanding of patient care, Amanda absolutely loves the daily variety that clinical work brings. She is particularly passionate about helping to put nervous patients at ease, using her warm and reassuring manner to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone in her care, all while enjoying the camaraderie of working alongside such a great team.

Away from the clinic, Amanda channels her energy into her creative passions, which include sewing and upholstery. She also loves staying active by taking long dog walks, and she cherishes spending quality time with her family.

Saffy joined Long Street Dental at the beginning of 2024 and has loved every moment of her role since. She is highly qualified, having earned her Level 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2017, and later expanding her clinical capabilities in 2019 by completing a specialised course in taking and handling dental impressions.

For Saffy, the most exciting and rewarding part of her job is being involved in complex surgical procedures. She particularly thrives when assisting with dental implant treatments, enjoying the precision required and the life-changing results these procedures offer to patients.

Away from the clinic, Saffy is a busy mum to two young children. She loves getting creative with sewing and spending time outdoors gardening. As a family, they love nothing more than heading away for holidays to make memories in Cornwall.

Emma brings a wealth of expertise and a deeply caring nature to Long Street Dental, having enjoyed two successful chapters with our practice. She first worked with us for a decade spanning the 1980s and 1990s, before returning to the team in 2012. Her foundational training includes an NEBDN Certificate from 1992, which she later complemented by earning her NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing in January 2014.

At the heart of Emma’s approach is a commitment to being compassionate and supportive, ensuring every patient feels at ease in the chair. Clinically, she loves the precision of assisting with crowns and bridgework, but her true passion lies in complex surgical procedures and extractions, an area of dentistry she is eager to continue gaining advanced experience in.

Emma’s dedication and stamina extend far beyond the clinic; she is an accomplished ultra-marathon runner who has achieved the incredible feat of running every single day since 2019. When she isn’t clocking up the miles, she loves nothing more than relaxing and spending quality time with her family and the family dog.

Dana has been the welcoming face of our practice since 2001. As a long-standing receptionist, she has spent over two decades building wonderful, lasting relationships with our patients, greeting them with familiar warmth at every visit. For Dana, the absolute highlight of her career is making patients feel at home, and she deeply appreciates working alongside such a fantastic team of colleagues.

Outside the practice, Dana loves to stay active. She balances her time between the peacefulness of yoga and gardening, but also loves getting stuck into a good book. With a deep passion for history and archaeology, she loves travelling to explore historic sites, uncovering the stories of the past whenever she gets the chance.

Anna joined the Long Street Dental team in 2024. As the first point of contact for our patients, she brings an energetic, welcoming, and compassionate approach to the front desk.

What Anna loves most about her role is the vibrant community atmosphere; she truly thrives on being part of a supportive team and takes great pride in meeting our patients and helping them feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door. Whether she is scheduling appointments or answering questions, her goal is always to make each patient’s visit as smooth and comfortable as possible.

When she isn’t in the practice, Anna is a keen gardener who loves spending her free time nurturing plants and enjoying the peace that gardening brings.

Lance joined Long Street Dental in May 2026 as our Local Decontamination Unit (LDU) Technician, and he has already made a fantastic contribution and a noticeable difference to the smooth running of our practice.

For Lance, the most rewarding part of his role is the immense job satisfaction that comes with his work. He takes great pride in processing and returning clinical equipment to our dentists and hygienists, knowing that everything is ultra-clean, flawlessly sterilised, and ready for seamless patient care.

When he is not ensuring our clinical standards are top-notch, Lance leads an active and varied lifestyle. He is a keen outdoor enthusiast who loves camping, mountain biking, and hitting the skate parks on his scooter. When it is time to unwind indoors, Lance enjoys diving into the world of gaming and channelling his focus into building LEGO projects.

Helen has been the heart and soul of the practice since 1980, playing a pivotal role in its growth and success as our Practice Manager. Highly qualified, she earned her NEBDN National Certificate in Dental Nursing with Merit in 1993, and later achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Management from the ILM UMD Professional in London in 2009.

For Helen, working at the practice is a real privilege. She thrives on the sheer variety of her role, where no two days are ever the same, and this keeps her on her toes! Whether she is supporting her colleagues or assisting patients, helping people is what she does best. Over her remarkable time at Long Street Dental, she has loved meeting generations of wonderful people and their families. She counts herself incredibly lucky to work with such a talented, close-knit team who are not just colleagues, but also friends outside of work.

Helen’s weekends are just as busy as her weekdays. She is a proud season ticket holder at Swindon Town Football Club and a qualified cricket coach. While she is now mostly retired from coaching, she still loves staying involved by scoring for her club, Spye Park, on weekends, cherishing the fantastic camaraderie it brings. In her remaining free time, she enjoys tending to her allotment, photography, and music. She also loves walking, exploring the beautiful landscapes of the UK, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Jessica joined the practice in 2022 as our Assistant Manager, and she absolutely thrives on the variety her role brings each day. She has a true passion for working with people, meaning you’ll often find her on reception greeting patients with a warm smile and a helping hand. On other days, she is tucked away in the office, happily channelling her love for spreadsheets to ensure all of the practice’s policies and procedures are perfectly up to date.

To power through her busy days, Jessica maintains a high-energy routine, swimming and running most mornings, though she happily admits this is mostly so she can indulge in her love for good food!

Outside of work, family time is her top priority. She loves nothing more than heading outdoors for long walks and beach days with her loved ones. And whenever she catches a quiet moment to herself, you can almost always find her with her nose buried in a good book.
